The Strength of Women in Business

Mina Ebrahimi stared out at the age of 11 working at her parents bakery in Seven Corners at Tiffany’s Bakery. She learned the business of customer service at such a young age and continued on to run her family cafe in Tyson’s Galleria at Saint Germain Cafe. She later started Saint Germain Catering in1999 at the age of 26 years old. She has a hands-on approach to her business, working directly with clients to ensure excellent customer service. In 1998, Mina translated her passion for cooking, creating memorable events, and making people happy into a business. Saint Germain’s started in 1999 by providing Corporate Catering. Mina had a grander vision in mind, and she quickly transformed the business into a full-service catering company serving weddings, business luncheons, special events, and private parties. Mina’s meticulous nature, hands-on approach, and passion for her work have made Saint Germain Catering what it is today. I am starting my 19th year and still kicking strong after its creation, she continues to oversee the business’s day-to-day operations and kitchen management. My efforts to stay sharp and on the cutting edge of catering, she also regularly attends professional seminars on cuisine, décor and design, and technique. She has a passion for animals and giving to others in various ways. The Jack-Ebrahimi Program at University of Pennsylvania she started is one of the only Interventional Radiology Veterinarian Programs in the Country. Her Philanthropy side drives her to work hard to give back to various areas dear to her heart. The sponsorship of The Penn Vet Working Dog Center helped develop a dog name McBaine to detect Ovarian Cancer in Women today. The proceeds of Saint Germain Catering have helped with Cancer Research at Upenn through animals being treated for the disease. Her passion for wanting to help Operation Homefront with disabled soldiers coming back from war is another area dear to her heart. She loves giving back to young women of all ages to build a future to own their own business one day.
